Ribbit - A digital messaging mode over analog voice comms:  Pierre Deliou W4CKX will present an overview of the Ribbit digital message mode as well as the project responsible for it.  Ribbit is a project of the Open Research Institute (ORI).  Pierre leads the Ribbt project which presently has  3 team members and is looking for mobile app developers to support Ribbit's growth.  See the Ribbit website for more information.

Pierre Deliou W4CKX

Pierre Deliou W4CKX is the inventor and project lead for Ribbit.  He was first licensed as F4CKX in France in 1998 while pursuing a physics degree.  He met his wife at Georgia Tech and settled in Gwinnett, GA in 2007.  He re-entered amateur radio in 2020 as W4CKX, concentrating on emergency communications.  He joined the Open Research Institute in 2022 to accelerate Ribbit development.  In his day job, Pierre is Global Director of Digital Technology & Program Management at Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health in Duluth, GA.





OPEN MEETING -- All who are interested, licensed or not, please join us in our regular monthly meeting of the IEEE MOVE Radio Club (IMRC).  We normally meet by WebEx, on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, 8-10 pm Eastern time zone.  The meeting is open to all.  There is no admission fee and the rewards are manyfold.  For more about the IEEE MOVE Radio Club, please visit our website.
