Brief description:
On 29th May 2023, the IEEE Information Theory Society SEC Student Branch Chapter conducted a ‘Student Meet’, for all the members. The meet commenced with a welcome address from Dr. B Latha, HOD, Department Of Computer Science and Engineering, Sri Sairam Engineering College. Then Mrs. D Kavitha, Chapter advisor of IEEE SSEC ITS SBC, addressed the students. This was followed by a short presentation on the events conducted so far. After this, an interactive session took place in which the students provided suggestions for the upcoming events. Finally, the students were split into various teams on a volunteer basis to handle various tasks of the society.
