Tommaso Borzone graduated from Università di Pisa with BSC in biomedical engineering in 2011 and with a MSc in robotics and automation engineering in 2015. In 2016, he collaborated and later worked for Kongsberg Maritime AS in Norway as a software developer for the control of marine vehicles. In October 2016, he enrolled on the PhD program in control and automation managed jointly by Université de Lorraine (CRAN laboratory) and CEA tech. The PhD topic was mainly related to communication and control of distributed robotic systems. Since the completion of the PhD in 2019, he works as a robotic engineer in Eniprogetti SpA, a company of the Eni group. Subjects of his work are related to robotics and IoT systems for inspection focused on asset integrity and GHG emission reduction.
