To celebrate IEEE WIE Day 2023, IEEE NSU Student Branch, WIE Affinity Group is going to organize an outreach program. The theme for celebrating Women in Engineering Day 2023 is “Engaging Women in Mitigating Climate Change & Building Climate Resilience.” This theme focuses on women's empowerment and encourages them to contribute to reducing the growth and impact of climate change.

IEEE NSU Student Branch, WIE Affinity Group is organizing an outreach program named “Unlocking Imagination: Dive into an exciting SCRATCH adventure!”. This event will take place at Starlit School of English, Uttara, where two instructors from NSU will teach the school children the basics of programming using Scratch.

 

Learning how to program with Scratch will encourage children to delve deeper into the programming realm and become more acquainted with the technological field. It can nourish their critical thinking and problem-solving skills while also allowing them to have fun during the process.

Therefore, all children are highly encouraged to join this event and acquire a unique skill to build their path towards a more technologically driven and bright future.
