Biography:

Dr. D.Vishnu Priya is a distinguished psychiatrist with a passion for advancing mental health and well-being. Born on August 3rd, 1989, in the picturesque city of Visakhapatnam, her journey into the field of psychiatry began with a solid foundation in education. She completed her schooling at Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar in Vizag, followed by her intermediate studies at Sri Chaitanya Education Institute in Visakhapatnam.

Dr. Priya's academic pursuits led her to earn her MBBS degree from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College in Kolar, Karnataka in March, 2015. Demonstrating a keen interest in psychiatric medicine, she pursued her MD in Psychiatry at Santhiram Medical College and General Hospital in Nandyal in July, 2021. Her dedication to research and academic excellence was showcased when she was honored with the prestigious Dr. T. P Sudhakar Best Alumni PG Award for her outstanding research paper presentation at the AP Psychiatry State Conference in 2020. Her commitment to learning and her unwavering pursuit of excellence culminated in her achievement of the university's third rank in the MD examinations.

Dr. D.Vishnu Priya's professional journey has been marked by a desire to contribute to the field of psychiatry in meaningful ways. She served as a senior resident at Santhiram Medical College, where she gained valuable experience and insights into the practical aspects of psychiatric care. Currently, she holds the position of Assistant Professor at the same esteemed institution, where she continues to inspire and educate future generations of medical professionals.
