Dr. Ankit Yadav of Iowa State University, USA

Biography:

Ankit Yadav is Postdoc Research Associate at the Cyber Physical Security lab of Iowa State University, Ames, USA. He has received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT K), M. Tech in power engineering from Delhi Technological University, and B. Tech. in electrical engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, respectively in year 2022, 2014 and 2011. His schooling is from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Faizabad.

Ankit has worked as System Engineer in General Electric Renewable Energy, Noida, Guest PhD at Technical University of Denmark, Copenhagen, Sr. Project Associate at IIT Kanpur and Lecturer at JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur. His area of interest included HVDC, Modular multi-level converters, Power converter, Electric vehicle charging. He has published a few journals and conference papers (including 2 best paper awards).

Ankit is also an active IEEE volunteer. He has served as of Section Student Representative (SSR), IEEE UP Section, Convener, StB/StBC/StBAG Operation and Coordination sub-committee, IEEE UP Section, Chairperson, IEEE PES Student branch chapter, IIT Kanpur, IEEE PES Day Ambassador (Section), and many other roles. He has delivered a few invited lectures and organized many IEEE activities. He has received the Outstanding Student Volunteer Award 2019 from IEEE India council, Outstanding Student Volunteer Award 2020 from IEEE UP Section.
