On Friday, 23^rd June 2023, a webinar titled ‘Digital In You’ was hosted by the IEEE SB SIT in coordination with the National Digital Library of India. The speaker, Suthahar P, is an assistant professor and a renowned citizen, who has been leading Tamilnadu in the MyGov initiative. The event started with an introductory talk for Dr Tharinni Mai, the librarian for Sri Sairam Institute of Technology, following which the speaker elaborated on the technological revolution, the AI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney which are capable of creating stunning visuals, aided with creative descriptions. He discussed how the students can use these tools to upskill themselves, and raised awareness about MyGov, a governmental platform that helps the citizens participate and win lucrative prizes, meet top authorities by involving and fulfilling their duties as a citizen. The event ended with a vote of thanks from Dr Saritha G, the IEEE SB Counselor.
