Cyber Vigilance: Can cybercrimes be stopped?
The business case for Cyber Vigilance
Can cybercrimes be stopped? Why nothing has worked (so far) and what can we do about it? We all mostly agree:
- Cybercrime is an out-of-control pandemic.
- Cybercrime is as close to being a perfect crime.
- It is not a question of if, but when will it strike.
- What else can be done?
Since doing the same thing repeatedly but expecting different results is a sign of insanity, a fresh approach is needed to prevent cyber breaches. Cyber Vigilance is a new approach that can help.
This session will cover two aspects: (1) Why cybersecurity has failed to protect? (2) The business case for an alternative approach like Cyber Vigilance.
Following this there will a general discussion, Q&A and update on the current state of cyber security,

Sudhir Goel
Cyber Vigilance: Can cybercrimes be stopped?
Biography:
Sudhir Goel is an experienced IT professional with over three decades in the industry. He is a Mechanical Engineer from Delhi University and a PGDIM from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
Sudhir worked with Infosys, Comsys, and Mphasis BFL as a part of his career journey.
Having worked in senior leadership positions in India and abroad, Sudhir sensed and empathized with the helplessness felt by CISOs when faced with cyber criminals and cyber threats. He observed that spending millions on the state of art cybersecurity products, services and professionals did not get the businesses the succor or the cyber-protection they were looking for.
As an innovator, Sudhir decided to do something about it. His book on Cyber Vigilance is a result of that!
In this book, Sudhir has addressed the root causes behind cyber breaches and suggested suitable solutions to mitigate them.
Sudhir Goel, the author of “Cyber Vigilance, the art of staying cyber safe,” has created cyber vigilance only to help fight the menace of cyber-attacks. Contact him to find out how- sudhir@cybervigilance.group
