Greetings of the day!!
Hope you are doing well. I'm writing to you on behalf of IEEE Sensor Council Student Chapter Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, India. The IEEE Sensor Council Student Chapter, MNIT Jaipur is pleased to invite you for participating in the Women in Sensors (WiSe) activity. This event will be the “National Level Technical Poster Presentation” by Women Researchers (PhD, PG and UG) followed by expert lectures with distinguished researchers in the field of sensor technology.
To secure participation in this engaging event, interested individuals are required to submit an abstract of up to 150 words by the given Registration Link. Subsequent shortlisting for the event will be based on the quality of these submitted abstracts.

My journey with IEEE as a volunteer
Biography:
Dr. Roy is a member of the General Co-Chair of the IEEE SENSORS and the
Optical Society of America. Dr. Anil K Roy: is a faculty at Dhirubhai Ambani
Institute of Information & Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar
(Gujarat). His area of research interest is in sensors, Applications of Image
Processing and Optical Communication, High-speed Semiconductor Devices,
Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Quantum Optics, and fibre Optics
Technologies. He has published many research articles in reputed international
and national journals.

Dr. Saakshi Dhanekar of IIT Jodhpur
Sensors for Human Health Monitoring
Biography:
Currently, Dr.Saakshi Dhanekar is an Adcom member IEEE Sensors Council and
chair of the Women in Sensors Committee, and an Associate Professor at IIT
Jodhpur. She works in developing and fabricating MEMS gas sensors and bio-
sensors based on nanomaterials. She had worked as a SERB Research Scientist
and INSPIRE Faculty at IIT Delhi.

Dr. Sangeeta Singh of Vardhaman College of Engineering, Hyderabad, India
Sensing the Future: Role of Sensors for Climate Change Sustainability
Biography:
Dr. Sangeeta Singh is the Chair of IEEE Sensors Council Chapter, IEEE Hyderabad Section. She is presently working as Head, Professional Societies and Assistant Professor in the Dept. of ECE Vardhaman College of Engineering, Hyderabad. She has 18 years of teaching experience and is an active researcher. Her area of research includes on chip VLSI interconnects, high performance Arithmetic Circuits and hardware security. She has received "Outstanding Women in Engineering and Leadership Award" in the year 2020 from IEEE Hyderabad Section and IEEE India Council "Outstanding WIE Professional Volunteer award" in 2022.

Dr. Rukhsar Zafar of SKIT Jaipur
Harnessing Light for Detection: The World of Plasmonic Sensing
Biography:
Dr. Rukhsar Zafar received PhD degree from the Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur. She is currently working as an Associate Professor with the Department of Electronic and Communication Engineering, Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology, Management and Gramothan, Jaipur.Her research interests include photonic crystal, plasmonics, sensors, photonic integrated circuits, and slow light and has published over 40 research papers in refereed journals and conferences. She has guided several M.Tech. Dissertation and guiding 2 research scholars. She is the recipient of RPS research grant from AICTE, New Delhi. She is a Member of OSA, OSI, IE and ISTE and reviewer of several reputed journals (IEEE, OSA, Springer etc.)
