IEEE Authorship and Open Access Symposium: Tips and Best Practices to Get Published
You are cordially invited to attend a free live webinar session, which will provide authors with best practices in preparing a manuscript, navigating the journal submission process, and important tips about how to get published. It will also review the opportunities authors and academic institutions have to enhance the visibility and impact of their research by publishing in the many open access options available from IEEE.
This event is organized by the IEEE Xplore Team and is included here to publicize to the Northern Virginia Section Members.
This webinar will include the perspective of Sergio Benedetto, Emeritus Professor of Politecnico di Torino, Italy and current IEEE Vice President of Publication Services and Products. Over the course of his career, Professor Benedetto has authored or co-authored 5 books and over 250 papers which have received more than 20,000 citations. Given his vast editorial, authoring, and IEEE leadership experience, Professor Benedetto will provide critical insights on IEEE’s peer review and submission processes and tips on what editors look for in submissions. Other presenters from IEEE will also cover topics such as open access programs for institutions, research strategies using the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, author tools, and other important resources for authors. |
