Additionally, on the first day, students engaged in a hands-on session to study antenna design and analysis through specific software.
The second day of the event included a visit and a hands-on workshop on wireless positioning and location; airplane tracking; satellite dish pointing; and signal analysis with a spectrum analyzer at the Research and Training Laboratory on Space Science and Technology at Marisel.
Two Adalm Pluto SDRs, sponsored by the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, were awarded as prizes to the winning students who participated in a quiz on the final day of the summer school. The awards for the Antenna and Propagation Summer School were won by Ples Andrei Valentin and Domnici Dominic Istvan, both students from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.
Two distinguished guests from Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, Germany, were invited: Prof. Eng. Michael KUHN, PhD, and PhD student Mus`ab YÜKSEL.
