NFPA 70E Changes 2024 Electrical Safety in the workplace

Biography:
In 2007 he transitioned to MV/HV utility substation and distribution. After experiencing two life-taking and life-changing electrical events, Billy focused his efforts in Electrical Safety and represented City of Phoenix skilled workers as an AFSCME 2384 Officer and worked to update City policies and work practices. He continued the safety mission at the Intel Ocotillo site working to bridge the gap in 70e compliance with management, engineers, and electricians. Currently Billy is an Electrical Safety Program Administrator at Central Arizona Project, where he develops and implements the organization’s Electrical Safety Programs and Hazardous Energy Control Program. Billy holds a Master Electrician certification (NASCLA), Certified Utility Safety Professional (USOLN) with endorsement in Transmission and Distribution, Certified Electrical Safety Professional (NFPA), Certified Reliability Leader (AMP).
