Leonard Wilson Leonard Wilson of Rhode & Schwarz

Topic:

Utilizing Dynamic Road Condition Scenarios to Automate Battery-Electric Vehicle Testing

Abstract:

New ISO and OEM-specific standards require EMC tests at different speeds to test real road
scenarios, including impacts of speed and torque changes on battery recuperation. This session will
especially focus on the automation and documentation of the required tests.

Once the demonstrations are over, don’t go too far…it’s time to celebrate Oktoberfest!

Biography:

Leonard Wilson is a National EMC Applications Engineer at Rohde & Schwarz with over 30 years
of both lab and field experience in Automotive & Commercial EMC testing. Leonard has worked as
an EMC Lab Manager and EMC Applications Engineer in the Detroit Metropolitan area over the last
23 years. Leonard graduated from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of
Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
