Resolving Interoperability and Cybersecurity Issues for IoT-Enabled Sensor Devices

ABOUT THE SUMMIT:

The IEEE Sensors Advisory Committee was formed to address the challenges and implement solutions resulting in interoperable and cybersecure sensor devices. This committee will enable the fastrack development of a variety of solutions that might involve new standards, certification programs, implementation guidelines, open-source, registry, data sheets, etc.

In order to achieve this, the IEEE SA along with the Department of Homeland Security and IEEE Sensors Council are hosting the Sensor Committee Leadership Summit to further their goals and objectives: 

• Discuss industry needs and recommendations
• Identify key interoperability challenges, cybersecurity issues, and recommended resolutions
• Define a path to interoperability and cybersecurity for IoT-enabled sensors
