Biography:
Shawnice Meador (she/her) has 27 years of corporate and higher education experience, including leadership roles in talent management, leadership development, Six Sigma and engineering, at GM, GE, Progress Energy, UNC, ABB and Wolfspeed. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan, and an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business through their Weekend Executive MBA Program. Shawnice is an active member of SWE and SHRM. She’s certified in numerous career, leadership and global cultural assessment tools and programs, through the Center for Creative Leadership, the Center for Credentialing and Education, the Cultural Intelligence Center and others. She has served as an Executive Coach for over 1,000 working professionals, is a featured speaker at various conferences and has been a featured talent management expert in on-line publications including Forbes, US News & World Report and others.
