IEEE SB GNITS is conducting a technical talk Titled  AI and Human Intelligence by Prof. Saikumar Tara (Student Activities Committee Chairman, IEEE Hyderabad Section. Dept., Of ECE, BVRIT HYDERABAD College of Engineering for Women Hyderabad), on 15-09-2023 from 10:30am-12:30pm, at IT Seminar Hall, F-Block, GNITS.

 delivered a talk on “AI and Human Intelligence”. This technical session includes the comparison between Human and artificial intelligence. The importance of Artificial Intelligence in industrial level is illustrated in the session. AI programming focuses on cognitive skills that include Learning, Reasoning, Self-correction and Creativity. The purpose of Human intelligence and the goal of artificial intelligence is demonstrated to the audience. Impact of AI on the future of jobs is also discussed. Students and faculty of various branches have participated in this session.

The knowledge sharing of the speaker helped the students to know the difference between human and artificial intelligence and the effect of AI in the present scenario. Students and faculty actively shared their feedback very positively and delighted on the session. Total number of participants attended: 142

Biography:

Prof. Saikumar Tara, Senior IEEE member, Gold Medal recipient from JNTUH's Ex 
VC, Dr. D N Reddy, for his B.Tech degree in Academics on Feb 28, 2008, and 
University Topper for M.Tech degree from Kakatiya Institute of Technology and 
Science (KITS Warangal), Kakatiya University Warangal in 2010. He is an 
experienced IEEE Transaction Reviewer on Fuzzy Systems (TFS) and IEEE 
Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence, USA. He is an 
active volunteer in IEEE Hyderabad Section severing as SAC Chairman for IEEE 
Hyderabad Section, Sensors Council Hyderabad Chapter as SAC and past served 
Secretary/Treasurer for IEEE Education Society and Excom member of IEEE 
CIS/GRSS Jt chapter Societies of IEEE Hyderabad Section and also MC member of 
Computer Society of India, Hyderabad Chapter. He delivered around 60+ plus talks 
at various places. He is an International Workshop Advisory Group, IEEE 
Conference, and Publisher for several indexed Scopus journals. He has 70 plus 
articles in International Journals, Book Chapters, and conferences and 20 plus
papers indexed in Scopus. To his name, he holds nine patents. He was an Editor 
for AIP Conference Proceedings, Reviewer for IEEE Transaction for Fuzzy Systems 
and Computational Intelligences too.
Presently is the TPC Chair for IEEE INDICON 2023 Conference under IEEE India 
Council at NIT Warangal. He is the Conference Co-Chair of BVRITHCON 2023.
Here Area of Interest is Signal ,Image and Video Processing ,AI, Teaching Pedagogy. 
Starting in 2010 Saikumar Tara, Served as Associate Professor, I / C Head ECE,
and Chief, Centre for Signal and Image Processing at CMR Technical Campus, 
Hyderabad. Presently joined in Dept., of ECE, at BVRIT Hyderabad College of 
Engineering for Women, Hyderabad.He is a member of Senior IEEE, CSI, ACM, 
IE(I),ISTE, etc.,
