The International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Chesapeake Chapter in
collaboration with our cosponsors: IEEE Baltimore, Washington D.C. and Northern VA
(NOVA) Chapters invite you to attend an “Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and
Application Development Lifecycle Management (ADLM) Projects for Systems &
Software Engineers Workshop” with Facilitator/Instructor: Mr. Mike Pafford on Saturday,
December 19, 2015 commencing at 9AM. IEEE accredits this presentation for continuing
education/professional development. Attendees are eligible to receive Continuing
Education Units /Professional Development Hours (CEU/PDH) by attending the full
duration of the workshop, completing, and submitting forms at the close of the workshop.
Abstract:
Mr. Mike Pafford introduces those in attendance to the IDEATION Design Thinking
construct in preparation of facilitating a workshop of exercises applying the construct to
collaborative ALM/ADLM exercises. The goal is to provide Systems Engineers and
Software Engineers with knowledge and understanding that allows both disciplines to
enhance their value in collaborative Agile ALM/ADLM projects. During the workshop
participants will actively collect as much raw data as possible in real-time during each
activity and exercise (this capture will use sticky note, white boarding, etc.). After the
capture of data, participants will share their data among the other attendees at the
workshop.
Examples of Workshop Success:
ï‚· Sharing in near real-time of collected raw data among workshop participants
ï‚· Positive real-time feedback from all workshop participants
ï‚· Compilation and processing of collected data into satisfactory reference information
