Agenda

  • Increase student awareness of IEEE

  • Increase student awareness of what IEEE has to offer for lifelong career assistance

  • Increase student awareness of local IEEE lectures/events they may want to attend and/or volunteer assistance (ie NAPS taking places at WCU Oct. 15-17)

  • Inform students about an upcoming opportunity with the Student Interview Project (Florida section is putting together opportunity for student to interview someone in IEEE and write a paper on what the student learned about the interviewee’s career and how IEEE helped them. Will be published with students’ name)

  • Remind Student Branch of IEEE WorkSpace (IEEE-ColabratecIEEE.org/App/dashboard)

  • Remind Student Branch to make IEEE reports (ref. Calendar-IEEE Student Branch Development)

  • Take in students’ ideas – How can WNC Section help UNCA students succeed in school and career?
