PRAYAS - 2023
PRAYAS is an outreach program under the WIE wing of IEEE - SJCE, with a mission to bring joy and knowledge to underprivileged children. Our inaugural visit is to the Ranga Rao Memorial School for the Differently Abled, Mysuru, which is dedicated to help visually challenged children become independent and confident individuals.
PRAYAS is a long-term event, and we're planning to engage events and workshops during the weekends. As the name PRAYAS stands for "Platform for Rendering Aid to Young Kids and Aiming to Spread Smiles," our goal is to assist kids with their studies, artistic talents, English language and various skills. We believe in creating a positive atmosphere, nurturing young minds and spreading happiness.
During our first visit, kids will participate in a delightful origami art game, sparking their creativity. Our volunteers will ensure active participation, encouraging teamwork and learning. Collectively, we aim to ensure that our inaugural PRAYAS visit becomes an unforgettable and meaningful encounter for these kids.
