2 Day Technical Outreach Program on AutoCAD, Tinkercad Software
The 2-day outreach program of IEEE Student branch , Raghu Engineering College was conducted on AutoCAD Tinkercad software in Government Polytechnic College Pendurthi from 14th to 15th september 2023. The program was organized by the Student branch of IEEE PES society.
The primary objective of the program was to introduce the students to the latest computer-aided design (CAD) software and provide them with hands-on experience. The program aimed to enhance the students' skills in CAD software, which is essential for their future careers in the engineering and design fields.
The program was divided into two sessions, each lasting for one day. The first session was held on 14th september 2023, and the second session was held on 15th september 2023.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. N. Chandra Shekher, principal of the Government Polytechnic college Pendurthi, folllowed by the speaker Mr. Gembali Dinesh, Chair PES society, IEEE Student Branch ,Raghu Engineering College.
During the first session, the students were introduced to the basics of AutoCAD software. The session was conducted by the speaker, who demonstrated the various features and functionalities of the software. The students were also provided with technical illustration of the models by the team, hands-on training on how to use the software effectively, the students were introduced to the technical aspects of the project in the first session .
In the early hours of the 2nd session the participants of all the colleges are collaborated and been divided into the groups. The program concluded with a group project, where the students were required to design a 3D model of several circuits using the Tinkercad software. The students worked in groups and presented their final projects to the technical team.
The program received positive feedback from the students and the faculty members. The students expressed their satisfaction with the program and the hands-on training they received. The faculty members also appreciated the efforts of the technical team in conducting the program and providing the students with practical knowledge of the CAD software.
In conclusion, the 2-day outreach program on AutoCAD and Tinkercad software conducted in Government Polytechnic College Pendurthi was a success. The program provided the students with valuable hands-on experience in using the latest CAD software.
