About Workshop

  • The aim of this workshop is to deliver the fundamental concepts of Routing and Switching concepts in Data Communication and Networking.
  • To introduce IEEE standard employed in Networking.
  • To make students to get familiarized with different protocols, network components and their functionalities.
  • Hands-on labs and Cisco Packet Tracer simulation-based learning activities help students develop critical thinking and complex problem solving skills.
  • Upon completion of this workshop, the students will gain comprehensive understanding of Role of Intermediate devices (Switches and Routers) and their functions in layered structure with different layers of protocols in Packet Tracer simulation.
