IEEE Day is the celebration of the day over 100 years ago when engineers came together to lay a framework for future collabortion and promotion of the profession. That profession has led to contributions which has made life easier for millions of people. But not everyone has reaped the benefits of those technolotgies. The IEEE Humanitarian Technologies Board is charged with developing ways to use technology for the benefit of humanity.
