Diana Chepkemoi Kosgei Diana Chepkemoi Kosgei of UNESCO


Diana Chepkemoi Kosgei is the Project Engineer at the UNESCO Chair for
Climate Change Resilience and Sustainability at Strathmore University. She is
a driven and passionate Mechatronic Engineering professional with a strong
focus on sustainable energy generation and its efficient utilization through
capacity building, research and system design. With a keen interest in electrical
technologies and energy systems, her work revolves around
research,understanding quality ecosystem, and best practices in system design.
Diana's expertise lies in designing innovative solutions for universal energy
access and productive use, particularly in the realm of solar photovoltaics. She
is deeply committed to exploring complex systems and data science to stay
abreast of current trends in the energy sector. As a mechanically inclined
individual, she takes pride in actively participating in various projects and
leading initiatives that contribute in addressing global challenges. Diana's
mission is to create a positive impact by fostering green energy adoption and
promoting environmentally friendly practices in both local and global contexts. 

Jenipher Ogara Jenipher Ogara of IES Kenya


Jenipher Mor Ogara is an Electrical and Electronics Engineering Graduate, currently an Application
Engineer at Schneider Electric’s Industrial Automation business. Her role involves programming PLCs,
configuring SCADA solutions and commissioning customers’ automation projects.
In addition to her position as an engineer, Jenipher is involved in various volunteering activities. She is the
Chairperson to IEEE Kenya YP affinity group, activity coordinator and treasurer for the Industrial
Electronics Society Kenya Chapter, a volunteer for PES and Women in Schneider Electric. She has taken
part in various mentorship programs for primary, high school, university and TVET students. She is
passionate about Energy Education and volunteers for Switch Energy Alliance in competitions about
solving Energy Povert

Dedicated to enhancing underwriting departmental operations with an analytical and disciplined approach. Also, with a history of being an effective leader with full understanding of the process and team needs through effective people skills. Currently serving as Customer Facing Executive in the Supply Chain field.
