IEEE MIST Student Branch is arranging an event on planning and standardized design of electrical substation and invite you all in this session.
Mr. Al Amin Hossain, assistant manager (Engineering & design), Reverie Power and Automation Engineering Limited is an expert in this field and has a great lifetime experience. He will come to MIST and share his knowledge and experience with us in this sector. He has completed his MSc. In EECE from our MIST and in his professional career, he was involved in more than three hundred projects in electrical field. He is also a certified electrical supervisor from Ministry of Power, Bangladesh and certified data center professional from SAPCO as well as TTA panel designer of ABB.

Biography:
I’m truly passionate about my work. While I enjoy all aspects of my job. My favorite stage of any project is to learn & enhance my knowledge of detailed engineering through different sources.
Currently working as an Deputy Manager by leading a team called “Engineering and Design” at Reverie Power & Automations Engineering Limited. Contributing to electrical substation design and development of new technology within the domain of protection and other features of Power Systems.
Analyze the client’s specification, quality review of the design drawings/documents with respect to the design changes request to follow-up & contact for approval/clarification of comments for Transmission & Distribution, HT Panels, CRPs, Unitized Substation, etc. Prepare engineering drawings including BOQ, SLD, GA, Logic Schemes, Wiring, etc. manage design data, test report & other technical docs for on-time execution.
My interests revolve around product & system design, systems protection, transmission lines, automation, instrumentation, construction site logistics, maintenance, generation, and energy systems.
