Dr.K.Kannan is a Professor of Machine Learning in School of Computing in SASTRA University now . He served as Dean School of Education and Humanities and Science till his 60th age and working for SASTRA University for the past 38 years. He is also a Research Chair for Discrete Mathemaics for the past 5 years( Tier - II). He guided 14 Research scholars to move towards the Ph.D and got 153" SCI publications to his credit .His research interest includes Machine Learning, Image Processing, Combinatorial Optimization, Wavelets, Data Analytics and Mathemaical Modelling.He has completed 5 Sponsored projects funded by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
