IEEE Day is a global event that celebrates the achievements and contributions of IEEE members and engineers around the world.
IEEE Day commemorates the anniversary of the first time when IEEE members gathered to share their technical ideas, which took place on October 3rd, 1884. Worldwide celebrations demonstrate how thousands of IEEE members in local communities collaborate on ideas that leverage technology for a better tomorrow.

 

The IEEE Student Branch and the IEEE PES Chapter from TecNM - Instituto Tecnológico de La Laguna will organise an event to commemorate this day in 2023. You are cordially invited to participate in this celebration, where you will have the opportunity to learn more about the IEEE, its history, vision, and impact on society. You will also be able to interact with other IEEE members and students.
