iTryRobotic Workshop with LEGO EV3 Mindstorm Robot Kit (Saturday PM Session 1:30pm to 4:00pm)
IEEE MIT Undergraduate Research Technology Conference 2023 is proud to host an iTryRobotic workshop at the MIT Stata Center in Cambridge MA. This workshop will introduce the world of robotics to children by guiding them to build and program a Lego Mindstorm robot. The children will enjoy problem-solving and will develop interpersonal skills through working in a collaborative team setting as they learn to create a simple computer program that controls the behavior of a robot. They also will have the opportunity to develop creative designs to solve engineering challenges. These skills lay a strong foundation for future study in Computer Science and Engineering, Math, Mechanical Engineering and other STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) related subject areas.
Designed for: 4th to 10th grade children
Fee: An adult registration is required for each child. There is no child fee.
Parent, please enter your child's full name, age and gender on the "Special Requests" entry box.
