Dr. Tripti Swarnkar, a seasoned professor holding a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, plays a pivotal role as the head of the Biomedical Engineering Research Centre at Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed University. With an impressive teaching career spanning over two decades, her research pursuits are centered around Machine Learning, Omics data analysis, and Medical Image Analysis. As an esteemed IEEE senior member, she is fervently committed to fostering gender diversity in STEM, having initiated the IEEE Bhubaneswar Subsection WIE Affinity group. Dr. Swarnkar's leadership extends to a significant multidisciplinary project backed by Intel India, focusing on the validation of AI models for routine clinical disease screening and diagnosis. Her academic contributions are highly regarded, and her commitment to technology, research, and gender inclusivity is undeniably impactful.
