Biography:

Nik Moiseev, Space Suit Lead Designer received a Master of Aerospace Engineering from the Moscow Aviation Institute in 1986. He was quickly hired at Zvezda, a Soviet/Russian space suit provider, and began work on space suits that were to define his career.

Nik's designs have flown on MIR, Buran, Soyuz, and the ISS, since 1988. He had the opportunity to collaborate with NASA in EVA space suit development and testing, making trips to JSC for his design testing. He also worked with the ESA in the development of EVA suit configurations in Germany and Belgium. Nik left Zvezda as the lead space suit designer in 2006, for commercial space opportunities. He won a cash prize in the Astronaut Glove Challenge in 2009. He was the Co-founder, Lead Designer, and Chief Engineer of Final Frontier Design, a Brooklyn-based spacesuit company in 2010-2021, relocating the entire team and resources to Houston, Texas in 2022. He currently serves as Space Suits and Softgoods Lead Designer of Paragon.
