IEEE Day Celebration
IEEE Student Branch Carmel College of Engineering and Technology (IEEE SB CCET) Celebrated the IEEE Day at the Seminar Hall CCET from 3pm to 4pm on 03rd October 2023. All the IEEE membres of CCET were invited for the celebration. All the members were welcomed initially by introducing about IEEE Day Celebration and its importance. Then our Senior IEEE Member Dr. Sarath K. S addressed the gathering and shared some insights of IEEE and importance for IEEE membership. After that our Student Branch Counselor, Mr. Vishnu S talked about the importance of IEEE Day, when any why celebrated, the benifit of IEEE Memberships, the support from management for the smooth running of IEEE events in college were said. He also mentioned this years IEEE Day theme "Leveraging Technology for better tomorrow" and it was motivational and wished IEEE Day for us all.
Then we went for the Cake cutting Ceremony, a cake was arranged, Dr. Sarath K. S and Vishnu S sir cut the cake and it was distributed among all the members. All the members could interact among themselves while having the cake, was really tasty !
We already approached with an Alumni of IEEE CCET SB, Ms. Ahooja S Deep, our past Treasurer of ExeCom to do a video by sharing her experience and thoughts of our IEEE SB. That recorded video was played in the projector and was shared with the members, and that was really encouraging among the students.
The celebration came to end by 4pm.
