IEEE Day Celebration
IEEE Student branch of NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte organized the IEEE Day on October 09, 2023. The theme of the event was “Know about IEEE”. Mr. Tushar Rao, Chair, IEEE SB welcomed the gathering and gave a prelude to the event. In his address, he explained the significance of the celebration. Prof. Vasudeva, Student Branch Counselor gave a presentation on IEEE, benefits of Joining IEEE and the initiatives of IEEE Mangalore Subsection. Ms. Srinidhi Shet, Secretary (IEEE SB) and Ms. Pratishtha Anchan, treasurer (IEEE SB) conducted a quiz on IEEE and IEEE related technologies. The goodies received from IEEE were given as prizes to the winners. The event was graced by the professional members of IEEE from the institute Dr. K V S S S S Sairam, Dr. Venugopala P S and Dr. Ashwini B. More than 100 students (both IEEE members and non-members participated in the event.
