Agenda
This meeting was to introduce the Dean of the HCU College of Science and Engineering, to the IEEE Houston Consultants Network (HCN) and to discuss how the HCN could engage with the HCU IEEE student chapter to provide support for student activities and to share practical experience in engineering works with the students. The Dean was very interested in establishing relationships with local engineering professional groups for making presentations and to provide guidance for the HCU students. She was interested in getting an introduction of the IEEE HCN to the students and in having a presentation from me regarding the process for going from a product idea to an FDA approved medical product.
