IEEE Day is an annual event that celebrates the first time in history when engineers worldwide gathered to share their technical ideas in 1884. One of the IEEE Day's objectives is to show the ways IEEE members, in local communities, join together to collaborate on ideas that leverage technology for a better tomorrow.

New Initiatives of the Branch

  1. Engaging the first year students by providing awareness about various platforms that improves their technical, aptitude skills in the allotted time table.
  2. Providing sessions by senior IEEE Student Members about the internship completed by them.
  3. Make smaller group of students, provide them smaller modules of projects, encourage them to code on their own, later it will have monitored by the Senior IEEE Members.
  • If this goes well, we shall request IEEE MSS to provide them with the certificates (Internship Certificates)
  • Our branch has over 325 members and we all gathered in groups for various events and celebrated with harmony. This is how our IEEE day celebrations lasted for one week as IEEE week celebrations i.e., 3rd October 2023 to 9th October 2023.
