IEEE Student Branch UET Taxila arranged an exciting event of IEEE Day 2k23, the event took place
in Exam Hall EED on 3
rd October, 2023 commencing at 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
IEEE Day is annual celebration of innovation and technological advancement. It is a day to recognize the
profound impact IEEE has on shaping the world
The session started with a short introduction of our Guest speaker Prof. Faisal Nadeem, who is currently
serving as a counsellor for IEEE SB UET Taxila, and our honorable teachers, Dr. Junaid Mir, Prof.
Zohaib Naqvi, and Ma’am Farzana Kausar as Guests.
The counsellor Prof. Faisal Nadeem shared his vast experience about this very society and opportunities it
upholds for benefit of engineering students. The main objective of this event was to perform Cake Cutting
Ceremony of IEEE day. A cake to mark our commitment for shaping the future and for remembering and
highlighting the efforts and events conducted by IEEE UET Taxila.
There were about 50 attendees of this event who were actively participating and collaborating with this
society, all of them were appreciated. The event was very successful.
