MS/PhD Series Season 3.0
IEEE SIGHT, AMU, orchestrated an enlightening webinar titled "MS/PhD SERIES SEASON 3.0" on the 8th of October, 2023, commencing at 7:30 PM via Google Meet. The event featured distinguished guest speakers, Mohammad Tariq and Seerin Ahmad, who shared invaluable insights into the realms of higher education and research.
Mohammad Tariq commenced the session by illuminating the audience on the significance of pursuing a PhD. In his address, he candidly delved into the multifaceted aspects of embarking on this academic journey, shedding light on the challenges that may arise, particularly pertaining to funding. His discourse provided attendees with a pragmatic understanding of the pursuit of advanced degrees.
Seerin Ahmad seamlessly followed, expounding on the merits of venturing abroad for higher education. Additionally, Dr Seerin elucidated the essential documentation required for such endeavours, including Letters of Recommendation, Cumulative Performance Index, and standardized test scores like TOEFL/GRE. Mohammad Tariq: Mohammad Tariq is an Asst. Professor in the Department of Electrical
Engineering at Zakir Hussain College of Engineering, Aligarh Muslim. He has done his Ph.D. from
NTU, Singapore. He is also the founder and chairman of IEEE AMU & IEEE SIGHT AMU. He was an ExScientist Rolls Royce at NTU, Singapore. He was among the top 2% scientists globally for the year 2022.
