IEEE DAY 2023 Celebration
IEEE Day 2023 was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor at JSS Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE), Noida, organized by the IEEE JSSATEN SB. The event brought together students, faculty, and professionals in the field of electrical and electronics engineering to celebrate and learn about the significance and benefits of being a part of IEEE. The event featured a stellar lineup of speakers, with Dr. Manpreet Kaur, a distinguished member of the IEEE, as the chief guest speaker.
Dr. Manpreet Kaur, an esteemed member of IEEE and the Joint Secretary of IEEE Delhi Section at JSSATE, Noida, shared a wealth of knowledge and insights about IEEE. She introduced the audience to the history, mission, and significance of IEEE and explained the numerous benefits and opportunities available to IEEE members. Dr. Kaur highlighted the importance of staying updated with the latest technological advancements and encouraged students to actively engage in IEEE activities. Her speech was informative and inspirational, shedding light on the vast scope that IEEE offers to its members.
Dr. Amarjeet Singh, the Principal of JSSATE, Noida, graced the occasion as the guest of honor. In his address, he motivated students to actively participate in organizations like IEEE, emphasizing the role of such platforms in shaping future technologists and engineers. Dr. Singh commended the efforts of IEEE in fostering innovation, collaboration, and technical expertise among students and professionals.
Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, the Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, shared valuable insights into the importance of electrical and electronics engineering in today's world. Dr. Sharma's engaging speech inspired students to think critically and innovatively about their chosen career paths.
Dr. Gunjan Varshney, the Branch Counselor at JSSATE, provided an overview of the IEEE JSSATE Student Branch. She described the various activities, projects, and events that the student branch had undertaken. Dr. Varshney shared how IEEE student branches provide an excellent platform for students to enhance their technical skills, network with like-minded individuals, and contribute to the community. Her presentation encouraged students to actively participate in the IEEE JSSATE Student Branch.
This event also features a Seminar on Drone Technology, offering insights into the latest advancements, a Virtual Training Session for hands-on drone experience, a Membership Promotion Activity to encourage IEEE engagement, and a Debate Competition, focusing on networking and trending topics. The goal was to provide attendees with a well-rounded experience, fostering knowledge, skills, and community connections within the IEEE ecosystem.
