Meeting with R10 YP Affinity group Coordinator

I had a productive meeting with Ashan Imantha Bandara, who serves as the R10 Affinity Group Coordinator. During our discussion, we delved into several important topics. First and foremost, we addressed the key considerations that need to be taken into account for the upcoming initiatives. These considerations encompassed various aspects, including the selection of potential volunteers, the development of strategies for engaging young professionals, and the methods to promote YP (Young Professionals) activities among both members fromthe industry and academia.

Additionally, we brainstormed strategies to effectively promote YP activities within the young professional community and academia. This included discussing marketing approaches, communication methods, and engagement strategies that would resonate with these two distinct groups. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to plan and strategize, ensuring that our efforts to engage volunteers and promote YP activities are well-informed and effective.
