CyberSafe Training
The IEEE Computer Society LU SB Chapter is pleased to announce a series of events for the new year, which included a free CyberSafe training session. This training was open to students of Leading University with at least 2 years of study in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
We selected 40 students for the CyberSafe Training Track, which consisted of 2 days of in-person training and 1 day of online sessions. During the in-person training, students learned about the latest cybersecurity threats and how to protect their personal information. The online session provided additional resources for ongoing learning.
Our CyberSafe training featured a panel of experts, including Dr. Mohammad Shamsul Arefin, Dr. Touhid Bhuiyan, Dr. Mohammed Nadir Bin Ali, and Kh. Rashedul Arefin.
Participants received valuable rewards, including vouchers for Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) exams, certificates for completing the training, lunch and refreshments during in-person sessions, and opportunities for advanced training.
We're proud to have provided this opportunity for our students to enhance their knowledge and skills in cybersecurity, and we look forward to more such initiatives in the future. It's important to note that this event was part of the "Developing Advanced Security Professionals in Bangladesh (DASPiB)" project.
