AIRO 3.0 SYMPOSIUM: A RESOUNDING SUCCESS IN AI AND DATA SCIENCE EDUCATION
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Sri Sairam Engineering College,Chennai, successfully conducted its highly anticipated 3rd National level technical symposium,"AIRO 3.0," on October 17, 2023. This event saw participation from over 500 students representing various colleges from across South India. "AIRO 3.0" featured a diverse array of events and activities that showcased the rapidly evolving world of artificial intelligence and data science. The symposium offered a platform for students to engage in various technical competitions and workshops, enabling them to expand their knowledge and practical skills. Key events included "Code Sage," challenging participants to demonstrate their coding prowess, "AI Tech Craft," a competition focusing on AI-related innovations, a high-octane "Coding Hackathon," and a "Hands-on Training on NVIDIA JETSON NANO," which exposed attendees to cutting-edge technology. The symposium featured distinguished guests and keynote speakers who shared their insights and experiences in the field of artificial intelligence. Mr. Magesh Rajamani, Senior Solution Architect at Technology Expert Labs, IBM India Pvt Ltd. Chennai, and Mrs. Kalaiselvi C, Delivery Manager at Cognizant Technology Solutions, Chennai,
presided over the event. Their presence added tremendous value by shedding light on the latest trends and real world applications of AI. To recognize the outstanding talents of the participants, prizes were awarded to the top performers across various events.
