NumPy is a library for the Python programming language, adding support for large, multi-dimensional arrays and matrices, along with a large collection of high-level mathematical functions to operate on these arrays. The predecessor of NumPy, Numeric, was originally created by Jim Hugunin with contributions from several other developers.

Biography:
Dr. Ch. Mallikarjuna Rao, completed his Ph. D in Computer Science and Engineering from JNTUA University, Ananthapuramu M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering from JNTUA Ananthapuramu, Andhrapradesh. B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Aurangabad university in 1998. He had 23 years of teaching experience. From past 22 years he has been working for Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology.
He worked as a Head of the department for Computer science from 2016-2019. Currently he has been working as a Professor in CSE and controller of Examinations at Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of engineering and technology,. He was published more than 30 National and International conferences and reputed Journals. His area of Interests are Big data, spatial data mining and Machine learning . He is a Oracle and Microsoft certified professional and also a corporate trainer. He had two Patents and completed one research grant project.
