IEEE SB in collaboration with Panimalar Engineering  College in association with IETE, Computer Society, Robotics and Automation society, WIE and IEEE presented a seminar on the topic Generative AI on 26.07.23 from 4 to 5 PM (IST) by Ms. Raghavi Bala, ML Engineer at Zipteams. Ms. Raghavi Bala offered a comprehensive insight into the revolutionary technology's applications and potential. She delved into the workings of generative models, showcasing their ability to produce creative content, from text to images. Attendees gained a deeper understanding of how these models are transforming industries like art, literature, and marketing. Speaker’s discussions were also centered around the ethical considerations and challenges posed by AI-generated content. In conclusion, the webinar highlighted that generative AI stands as a powerful tool with far-reaching impacts, urging participants to consider both its possibilities and responsibilities. Around 35 participants attended the session. The Student Coordinators Deephikaa K G, Hari Priya K and Thigazhvazhaki B coordinated the event along with Staff Coordinator Mr. M. Arun, AP/ECE.
