IEEE SPS KERALA Chapter in collaboration with IEEE SPS SBC CET, IEEE SPS SBC CEAL, and IEEE SPS SBC MACE organized a session on IMAGE PROCESSING on 26 May 2023. Dr. Anil Raj J, an AI Senior Engineer from Sony India, Bangalore, took the session. The event was conducted online through Google Meet from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. A total of 226 registrations were received, and 91 attendees were there. 

The session began with an introduction to image processing. Image capturing, representation of images using colors, use cases of computer vision, deep learning on image processing, edge detection, and CNN were explained. Throughout the session, the basics of Image Processing were explained in detail, providing the participants with a comprehensive understanding of the subject. Dr. Anil Raj J, an AI Senior Engineer from Sony India, Bangalore, skillfully handled the session and ensured the participants were engaged and enlightened. 

The speaker took his time ensuring no questions were left unanswered at the end of the session. Certificates of participation were issued to all attendees.
