Rethinking Cyber Security : Evolving Threat vectors
Prof Janakiram, highlighted the evolving threats in Cyber seciuriy due to developments in AI, Clouds,Edge Computing, Quantum computing and Blockchain and stressed the need for a different approach to overome these evolving threats. He proposed a personalised a robust OS kernel against the universal OS which is vulnerable to hacking. He also spoke in detail about the research that is being carried out by him and his research team in the development of peronalised OS kernel
Biography:
Prof. Janakiram, is presently the Director, of IDRBT (Institute for Development and Research in Banking) located in Hyderabad, Telengana, India. The Institute carries out research activity in banking domain and also runs executive development programmes and Training Programmes in banking.
Earlier he was a Professor at IIT Madras for about two decades

Prof San Murugesan is presently Director, Brite Professional Services, in Sydney, Australia. He was a professor in Western Sydney universty for two decades. He is a distinguished speaker of IEEE Computer Society. He was the editor of Computer society journal and magazines. He has written a number of articles, papers and had given talks in many IEEE conferences. He is a Life Senior member oof IEEE.
