Aerokids 5.0
This is another special edition of AEROKIDS in collaboration with IEEE ESPRIT AESS SBC in Socio-Educational center "ESSANAD" in SIDI THABET.
This innovative event merged humanity with technology, providing children with aerospace and IT insights in a simplified manner.
it consists of three sessions:
-Aeronautical and simplified aerodynamics session: the kids learned how planes fly with the examples of
birds and kites. Also, did a workshop that consists of creating their own aircraft with simple tools and we held a mini-competition on whose plane will fly the furthest.
-Astronomy session: In this session kids participated in booths where they guessed the planets and their shapes
based on the names and hints we gave them.
-Arduino and line follower workshop: in This part we started by introducing how we make led lights work to the kids
and answering all their questions about electronics and arduino card then we continued to teach them the basics of ARDUINO in a
very simplified way and with the help of our team the kids made led lights work by making electric circuit.
Overall, the event was a resounding success, providing children with valuable educational experiences and igniting their interest in aerospace and IT. The collaboration between AEROKIDS and IEEE ESPRIT AESS SBC created a unique opportunity to merge technology with humanity, making complex concepts accessible and enjoyable for the young participants. The event not only nurtured their knowledge and skills but also inspired their curiosity, creativity, and passion for science and technology.
