Pi-hole is an open source project that operates as a DNS gateway for your network. It safeguards all devices on your network from unwanted ads and tracking while providing excellent visibility and control. This talk will describe the Speaker's experiences and lessons learned from using PiHole on his home network.

This talk will describe the speakers experiences and lessons learned from using PiHole on his home network.
Biography:
Eric graduated from Iowa State University in 1991 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He moved to the Twin Cities after graduation, and has worked on wireless network signal processing and ASIC development at local startups Nextnet Wireless, and Motorola. More recently he has worked on storage solutions and ASIC verification at Micron in Minneapolis. He is a member of the Communications and Solid State Circuits Societies. He has served as the IEEE Twin Cities Section Treasurer since 2016.
