The session began with the speaker introducing Data Visualization and its industrial applications. Data visualisation is the representation of data through the use of common graphics such as charts, plots, infographics, and even animation. The explanation went on in-depth and included how one could use Python to generate plots and graphs on Jupiter Notebook Platform using the matplotlib module along with other modules. The session concluded as the participants got clarification of their doubts along with a couple of application-based exercises and projects.

The session began with the speaker giving a brief introduction to Python and instructions to the participants on the installation of Python and various IDEs for Python development. She gave an in-depth explanation of the various data types used to store collections of data, namely Lists, Tuples and Dictionaries. Further into the session, she demonstrated the use and working of each of these data types in a few simple applications. Towards the conclusion of the session, she gave the participants a couple of projects and assignments for them to test their skills and see how much they understood and learned from this session.

The Python Course was a great success. The session was attended by a total of 18 members, of whom 7 were members of IEEE and 11 were non-IEEE members. The participants were able to understand the concepts in a practical manner and could create their own models.
