BMSCE IEEE - Rosalind Franklin AI - Tutorial 2
The second tutorial session of “The Rosalind Franklin Distinguished AI+X Project Series” was conducted on 15th of August, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm via the WebEx platform. The session was led by our resource person Dr. Suhas Sreehari.
The session commenced with a concise introduction to the fundamentals of machine learning, outlining its applications and significance in various domains. This was followed by a comprehensive explanation of signal processing techniques and their role in interpreting data patterns. The session also provided a thorough overview of Principal Component Analysis and Frequentist Estimation. All of these concepts were explained with real-world examples which illustrated the practical use of these concepts.

The session saw active participation from 19 students who constantly engaged with the instructor and addressed their queries. Overall, it was a very helpful session for the students to boost their preparation for the second round of the screening test.
