BMSCE IEEE successfully organized a collaborative Treasure Hunt as part of the induction and orientation activities for the students of Batch of '27. The BMSCE IEEE Student  Branch along with all the five IEEE chapters being Power and Energy Society and Sensors Council, Computer Society, Women in Engineering, PELS and IES Student Chapter, Society on Social Implications of Technology, organized this event on 23rd September from 12 PM to 1 PM in BMS College of Engineering.

Members of the event participated in teams of 3-4. The treasure hunt consisted of seven locations where QR codes were placed, containing clues to lead participants to the password-protected PDFs. The password for the PDF was derived from the name of the PDF opened in the previous location. Participants were supposed to take a selfie at the checkpoints in the correct order and had the opportunity to explore the campus, solve puzzles, and engage with fellow students in an exciting and competitive atmosphere. The top three teams that discovered the endpoint with all the selfies at the seven checkpoints in the correct order were declared winners and were awarded IEEE merchandise.

The treasure hunt was overall an exhilarating adventure that left participants brimming with excitement and delight. It received an active participation of a total of 175 teams. The treasure hunt was an unforgettable experience, fostering camaraderie and teamwork among the participants who revealed the thrill of the hunt and the ultimate satisfaction of uncovering the hidden clues.
