Prof. Richard Wolff will be presenting on the following topics in this session. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.

Biography:

Richard Wolff is Professor of Economics Emeritus, University of Massachusetts, Amherst where he taught economics from 1973 to 2008. Earlier he taught economics at Yale University and at the City College of the City University of New York. Wolff was also a regular lecturer at the Brecht Forum in New York City. He is currently a Visiting Professor in the Graduate Program in International Affairs of the New School University in New York City. Prof. Wolff is a co-founder of Democracy at Work, a worker-led, small-donor-funded non-profit making media exploring better ways to organize human life. Prof. Wolff is the host of socioeconomic shows Economic Update and Global Capitalism and author of several books including Understanding Marxism, Understanding Socialism, and The Sickness is the System.
