Abstract: CADimensions, Inc. was founded in 1990 as a Value Added Reseller (VAR) for the CAD (Computer Aided Design), CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing), FEA (Finite Element Analysis), PDM (Product Data Management) and 3D printing industries with a vision to be the #1 resource provider for 3D engineering software and manufacturing productivity tools in the geographic areas we serve.
Our mission is to put the proper engineering tools in the hands of our customers, so they may realize a shorter time to market and a reduction in design, manufacturing and overall operational costs.
We have been an authorized SOLIDWORKS reseller since 1995 and Stratasys reseller since 2004; with certified training and support centers located in Albany, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Rochester and Syracuse.
The presentation will cover the following topics: 1) History of Advanced Manufacturing (AM); 2) Current Methods in AM; 3) Benefits of Using Additive Manufacturing for Manufacturing w/SOLIDWORKS; and 4) Manufacturing Applications w/SOLIDWORKS including Documentation Creation, Mold Design and CAM.
